I want to sincerely thank everyone for their support over the last year. I put a lot of effort into each Spark, and I hope that you find even a fraction of the value I do in creating them.
Here’s to another year of sparks—and the fires they may start.
You can't start a fire
You can't start a fire without a spark
A new year offers us a blank book—a fresh start for us to try to get it right.
This year, I’m focusing on two powerful principles: Action and Pain.
Act more. Talk less.
In a world filled with talk—posts, comments, and gossip—we often preach more and practice less. Yet, all change comes from actions, not words.
The purpose of knowledge is action, not knowledge. —Aristotle
Pain
In life there are two types of pain: the pain of growth, and the pain of regret.
The pain of growth comes from consistent struggle and hard work. Anything worthwhile in life requires pain, effort, and difficulty.
There is also pain in regret, the unfulfilled dreams, abandoned goals, and missed opportunities we let slip away.
Pick your pain wisely!
There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. —C.S. Lewis
Thank you, Taylor, for your inspiring sparks. I so agree with you about action versus speech, that’s how you measure a human being by what he accomplishes and not by his speeches. Nevertheless, about pain, I would like to add that growth doesn’t always come with pain and struggle, not if you’re aligned with yourself and work with passion, exhaustion will be there for sure but joy and satisfaction for what you do will in fact be your road companions rather than pain. Lots of love.
It feels good to start the year with Spark ⚡️ Your emphasis on action is inspiring - from talk and dreaming to actual real world movement, that would be a powerful shift for me. (And thanks for a little bit of Bruce in this Spark!)
Mostly, thanks for your effort. Wishing you a stellar year!✨
