Great post, Heather! Glad to see you've officially joined the Daily Spark fam. I so agree with everything you've laid out here. Repurposing negative thoughts and feelings into sources of motivation and empowerment is something all of us can do daily to self-improve.

Yes, it's much better than letting your emotions take over your headspace. I think the hard part is not connecting to your emotions but acknowledging them.

Thank you so much Michael! It’s true, if we can do this it also goes a big way to dialing down the sound of the ‘inner critic.’ We don’t have to harsh on ourselves all the time!!
